John Keely attended Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and then graduated from the Art Center College of Art and Design in Los Angeles, He has since been working in Minneapolis for over 25 years. During this time he has worked on many major accounts, both locally and nationally. Some of the clients he has worked for are Chrysler Motor Company, Franklin Library, General Mills, 3M, Medtronics and Honeywell. He has won numerous awards in his field at illustrators shows from New York to Minneapolis. John owned a design /illustration studio and is now freelancing. His style ranges from realistic to whimsical. He is accomplished doing his illustrations in any media and is proficient in gouache, acrylics, oils, pastels, air brush, pencil and computer. He can do design, finished illustrations, and layout work both on the board and digitally. He pays attention to details and brings experience, drawing skills, and creativity to his work.
